Timberframe Cabin in progress

timberframe cabin in progress

The foundation is in. The plywood floor is installed. The timber frame is up and pegged together.

The Mennonites accidently installed the roof before I was ready. Somebody called them to do a job and they thought it was me but it was someone else...So there is no insulation under the metal roof. But I think I can stick some up there later.

Since this pix, the lower walls are completed using freshly cut oak from neighbor's sawmill and tarrpaper.

heh. I said tarrpaper. heh.
